Scavenger Hunt Feb 15/16

Join us for a farm scavenger hunt. Search for our animals, pond life, plants and insects. We will be hosting our first animal spotlight featuring our farm dogs: Charlie, Woofie, and our newest puppies - Susan/Lucy. Story time will feature: Charlie the Ranch Dog.

Kite Flying March 7/8

2PM - 6PM

Bring your own kite or purchase one from our store and fly with us! We have plenty of room and generally plenty of wind to get your kite flying high!
*NEW - We are offering a Make and Take Class on Chickens/Eggs. We will discuss types of chickens, the life cycle and examine different types of eggs. Class costs $5 and includes a craft and 1 dozen farm fresh eggs. Pre-registration preferred, but not required.
This week's FREE animal spot light will feature our sheep.

Our Make and Take will feature making your own butter! We will walk you through the steps to make butter. We will also discuss cows and milk production as well as how the cream separates from the milk. Other tips and hints will also be shared. This make, taste and take class is available for only $5. Pre-registration on line, is appreciated.

Why do pigs lay in the mud?  Does your mom tell you your room looks like a pig sty?  At our animal spot light, we will discover more about our pigs:  Toast, Pancake and Waffles.  We will read If You Give a Pig a Pancake, then feed our pigs some pancakes.

This week's Make and Take class will feature making your own lotion bar with your choice of essential oils to energize, calm or soothe. Class is only $5.
Horses, Horses, Horses...that is what we will share in our Animal Spotlight. Come meet our horses, learn how we care for them, how a farrier helps horses, and other tips for working with horses.

Don't forget to look for our story time and crafts, too.

Children's Egg Scramble Sat, April 11

A special event for families that is sure to please. Admission will be $8 for this Egg-stra Special weekend event. The animals will welcome you to the farm. Egg hunts will run every half hour, alternating between children under 6 and ages 7-12. The jump pillow, inflatable slide, barrel train and hay ride will be up and running for your enjoyment. We will also have story time, a very special object lesson and crafts, including decorating an egg. Watch our Facebook page for additional special features.

Join us for a Make and Take to learn about composting worms! Our staff will teach about what they eat, how they turn our scraps into dirt and so much more. You will get to make your own compost starter kit, including worms! Cost is only $5
